Ecommerce project manager

Job description

One of the main services Optiweb has to offer is developing online shops, which are built on the Magento and Pim platform. We have successfully developed over 50 e-commerce shops, from the very early stages of planning to the final stages of launching and maintaining them. We place special attention to building long-term relationships with our clients, which also results in acquiring always greater and more complex projects.

The task of developing an online shop of course does not fall on only one person; it requires teamwork, where an important part is played by the project manager – the connecting part between the client and the internal team on the project (developers, designers, marketing, etc.).


What is a project manager in charge of?

  • Managing 3–4 projects.
  • Direct communication with the client on one side and developers, designers and other colleagues involved in the project on the other.
  • Monitoring and coordinating the work of everyone involved in the project.
  • Weekly reports about the work progress and the status of the project.
  • Taking care that the project stays within the agreed timeline and budget frame.
  • Preparing the project documentation.

Requirements

What do we expect from you?

  • Great people and organisational skills and a lot of self discipline;

What kind of (technical) knowledge do we expect from you?

  • Knowledge of the process of developing digital projects
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language

  • Knowledge of e-commerce business

  • Knowledge of Magento platform – administration and frontend

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics (e-commerce)
