We're the Magento team – the biggest team of developers at Optiweb. Our ordinary day involves dealing with development riddles, solving programming bugs and talking in code. In the previous years we've doubled the number of our team members from five developers to ten developers, two project managers and a DevOps.


The number of our projects is steadily increasing, while we’ve moved from simpler projects to more advanced and demanding ones. We’re focused on developing e-commerce shops, configurators and PIM projects for Slovenian and foreign customers. We’re cooperating with clients such as Big Bang, Iglu Šport, Intersport, Corsair, Pikapolonica and others. Our team is also the proud owner of the biggest number of Magento and Pimcore certificates in Slovenia and we are also the only Slovenian Pimcore gold partner.


Even though there are 12 of us, we are currently missing a vital part of the puzzle – a team lead. We're hoping to find a team lead who will successfully manage and develop our team and make sure we're constantly growing with the help of new technologies and processes.

Job requirements

Our expectations:

  • At least three years of experience with team management.
  • Tracking the progress of all team members and helping them grow and develop.
  • Active participation in searching for and onboarding new employees.
  • Taking care of technical development of the team and its processes.
  • Active involvement and contribution to the development of the entire company.
  • Taking care of the profitability of the team and monitoring the financial indicators.
  • Taking care of the development of the team in accordance with the company’s strategy.
  • Preparing and implementing an annual plan for the entire team.
  • Occasional active involvement in the projects.


We’re especially searching for a team lead who does not only want to proactively run the Magento team but also actively contribute to the development of the entire company.
